Techniques I used

The techniques I used were creating a polygon primitive, switching from modes such as face, vertex and edge.
I did this because I knew that I was going to be limited due to the poly count of 200 triangles.
The next technique I used was split edge tool to split all faces to save time rather than merge faces individual faces. I thought that this was more time efficient way off adding geometry then using the split faces, I extruded the 4 faces that replicated a health cross up out to give it more geometry.

With my tutor Dave Chipp's help, he showed me how to open a PSD node from Maya and I textured the model and use the gradient tool to simulate shade on the texture.
